The series of tensioning travel are divided into two types:500mm and 800 mm. The tensioning travel can be calculated on the basis of 1% of the length of the belt conveyor.
The advantages of screw type tensioning device includes simple and compact structure, small space occupation. The disadvantage is that it can’t adjust the tension automatically and tension degree is not easy to control. Screw tensioning device is not recommended to be used for important belt conveyor equipment.
