Comb roller is also named comb sweep roller,it not only has a good leakproofness，but also has many omnibus characteristic，such as wear resistance,fatigue durability,corrosion resistance,ageing resistance,tear resistance,buffer performance,good elasticity,etc.It is usually installed on the return segment,the structure of comb roller is more complex than ordinary roller,as shown in the following drawings,there are some quantity of rubber rings on the roller surface,to avoid the direct contact between roller and belt,so it makes a good protection for rollers,in addition,the maintenance cost of comb roller is much lower,once roller wears,only need to change the rubber rings.
The comb roller also can protect the belt,during conveying,some material will spatter on the return belt inner surface,if don’t clear them in time, they will wear the roller and belt,even cause the belt deviation,however,comb will solve this trouble,because there are intervals between rubber rings,the material which spattered will fall into the intervals,they will not wear the belt,and because of the comb roller structure,the material will be cleaned up.
