- Adjust the belt tightness of the conveyor.
The tightness is a key factor to impact the operation of portable belt conveyor. You can tighten the belt through screw tensioning or hydraulic tensioning to solve the belt skid problem. It probably causes permanent deformation to the belt if the tension range is not enough, in this case, we need to cut a piece of belt off and then vulcanize the belt.
- If large range of tightness is required while using nylon or EP belt, we can also vulcanize the belt to solve belt skip problem and thus reduce damage to the conveying belt.
