Belt Conveyor Trippers Were on Their Way to Thailand

“All products meet clients’ specific requirements” is what we have promised.
Right before 5 days ago, we reached an agreement with our clients from Thailand, promising to deliver belt conveyor with tripper and circular vibrating screen what they had reserved. The belt conveyor with tripper refers to a particular equipment worked for wooden chip production line which will be settled at the top of warehouse to reach a maximum utilization rate of its space. 
Besides, their belt width are 1000mm and 650mm, length 25mm and 42mm.While circular vibrating screen is available for separating wooden chip with a size scale larger than 50mm, and stone size smaller than 4mm.
In addition, our clients are in need of metal detector, permanent magnet and drum separator as well. The permanent magnet settled at the feeding end is designed for isolating metals from material, while metal detector and drum separator are applied to eliminate the metal appeared in the production line.

Belt running deviation and skid processing method of belt conveyor

  • Running deviation has many reasons, according to the different reasons , we need to different treatment:
  1. Adjust the carrying idler group.
  2. Install the self-aligning roller group.
  3. Tension adjustment, tension adjustment is an important link of belt conveyor running deviation.
  4. Adjust the driving drum and redirection roller position. And the adjustment of the redirection roller driving drum is an important part of the belt running deviation adjustment.
  5. Two-way adjust deviation of belt conveyor.
  • Belt skid treatment method:
  1. Adjustable tension when the belt conveyor in skid trip to increase tension. Sometimes tensioning trip has not enough, however, belt in the permanent deformation , the belt can be cut part to and sulfide.
  2. In the use of nylon belt or EP,tension travel is longer,  when tension trip has not enough, sulfide or increase tension to solve.
  3. Heavy hammer tensioning belt conveyor belt skid can add weight to solve,  added until not skid. But should add not too much, avoid belt  bear too much unnecessary tension and reduce the service life of the belt.

Guide Rail Makes Tripper or Bucket Elevator Perform Better

Guide rail is made of metal or other material to become groove or ridge which is a device that can withstand, fix and guide mobile device or reduce their friction. Longitudinal groove or ridge on the surface of guide rail is used for guiding or fixing machine parts. Moreover, it is also known as sliding rail or linear guides, used in the occasion of linear reciprocating motion. It has a higher rated load and can assume certain torque. Do you know difference of TD75, DTII and DTIIA series belt conveyor?

Installation safety technical measures and matters of coal mine belt conveyor

1. Please pave the conveyor belt in strict accordance with the belt central line that production department gives. Belt should be paved to make sure flat, straight, and below rollers complete and effective, sweeper should be conformed to the requirements, lining plate of head and tail frame, as well as the guardrail should be complete and reliable.
2. Belt conveyor parts should be transported according to the order of tail frame, middle frame and the head frame, after transporting to the designated location, please put them away as per the transportation order along the roadway.
3. Belt conveyor should be installed according to the order of head frame, middle frame, the tail frame, central line of each pulley belt conveyor should be in a straight line.
4. Belt conveyor parts should meet the requirements, the anchor bolt should be fixed and tighten reliably.
5.All sorts of protection device of belt (Anti-frog protection, speed protection, temperature protection, automatic water spray protection if overheat, deflection protection) after the installation is complete, please test each protection device to make sure they are and sensitive working in good condition.
6. Please set up a bridge for walking where people go cross the belt conveyor frequently.
7.The electric switch protection device must be completed which should be sensitive and reliable ,the protection setting values must conform to the requirements, and keep them from water and rain, there should be enough space for walking and repairing, cable should be placed neatly and in order, communication signal should be in good condition, light and sound should be clear and reliable, control signal device should be complete, sensitive and reliable, explosion-proof lighting lamps and lanterns should be installed.
8. Both the head and tail section of belt conveyor must be equipped with two fire extinguishers and fire sand box which is not less than 0.2 m3.
9. Sweeper installation must meet the production needs. Sweeper and conveyor belt surface must contact well to ensure appropriate tightness and uniform contact, please also make sure both the head and tail section must be equipped with a sweeper.
10. In the section that the roadway changes to slope where belt waves easily, to ensure the belt frame transition smoothly, you can by adjust the supporting leg of conveyor.
11.After completing all the installation ,ensure all rollers and the belt are connected in good condition, then you can commissioning the conveyor.

►Brief Introduction
Sidewall belt conveyor is continuous transporting equipment of loose bulk materials such as coke, coal, limestone, sand and gravel. It adopts high quality conveyor belt with corrugated sidewall and horizontal baffle. Sidewall belts are used to convey material up inclines. The sidewall increases the carrying capacity of the belt and prevents product from falling off the edges of the belt. Hot vulcanization provides a 5x greater adhesion between the belt and sidewall, eliminating the need for bolting the sidewall to the base belt. Greater adhesion also prevents the sidewall from lifting and separating from the base belt, extending the belt life.

►Working Principles
The horizontal loading section a deflection wheel bends the belt into the feeding of the bulk material takes place on a mostly horizontal feed path, where the side wall belt is supported by loading impact idlers. The feeding of the conveyed material can be achieved by direct feeding from a hopper, over a chute, a feeding belt or a feeding pulley. The selection of the optimum feeding station depends on the properties of the bulk material and the belt speed of the vertical conveyor. The upward and downward strands are encased from the bottom to the top. Substructures or support rollers are not necessary in this section.
The vertical section leads over a deflection curve into the horizontal discharge section. The deflection curve is made up of a number of high specification pulleys. These pulleys experience the vectored load of deflecting the belt tension from vertical to horizontal. 
At the drive pulley, the bulk material is discharged and the belt is returned to the back going strand. Depending on the bulk material properties, the drive pulley is followed by a beater wheel for belt cleaning in the return side. The beater is self-driven. Material that fails from the belt goes into the main delivery chute. Lateral deflection wheels turn the belt from the horizontal back to the vertical.

►Selection condition
1. What is the conveying material and its physical characteristics? such as bulk density, feeding size, temperature, mositure content etc.
2. What is the processing capacity of the conveyor?
3. What is the inclination angle of the conveyor?
4. What is the lifting height (distance between inlet and outlet)?
5. What is the length of horizontal section?

►Maintenance
    1.Idlers: These must rotate freely, and be free from any material build-up. Lubrication of all moving parts on a planned basis is essential for dependable operation and minimum maintenance. Component life will be extended by following the manufacturer lubrication instructions.
    2.Pulleys: These should be free from any material build-up. The lagging on the drive pulley should be inspected on a regular basis. If the lagging is in poor condition it may be necessary to apply more tension than is normally necessary to drive the belt resulting in premature wear.
    3.Deflection Gear: Again, these must be free to rotate freely.
    4.Feed Hopper: It is important that this is just free from the top of Sidewalls, any rubber seals around the hopper need checking for wear to prevent excessive dust or spillage.
    5.Tracking: The belt should run without touching any side members or deflection gear, please refer to the section on belt tracking if the belt is running out of alignment.
    6.Good housekeeping: This is necessary for continuous operation and low maintenance. Spillage and build-up of material can eventually cause the idlers to stop rotating and an accumulation of lumpy material can cause belt damage.

Check: The belt edges, Sidewalls, Cleats and the belt splice need to be checked on a periodic basis for wear or separation. Any minor areas of damage should be repaired as soon as is possible.
